I would find that I was never in the mood for 1 thing, so I would have happy books and sad books and night books and on and on, it got a bit out of hand. <br />Soon after my habit got really bad I decided it was too much, and I quit multi-reading cold turkey and it really wasn't very hard. In the last 7ish years I have read only 1 book at a time, and I really wouldn't have it any other way. It helps me keep a clear head.
